Moving the Podcast

As mentioned in Episode 95, I had been re-uploading past episodes. However, the re-uploads weren’t going smoothly either—just when I thought one had uploaded successfully, the older ones started disappearing… After looking into it, it seemed continuing distribution under the current system would become difficult going forward. Therefore, I have decided to take the plunge and move everything to a newer hosting server.

So, as the year draws to a close, I’m in the process of moving my podcast. During this transition, you may experience connection issues or other glitches. We sincerely appreciate your understanding during this time.

We had been re-uploading up to the third episode, but we’re putting that on hold or canceling it for now. We hope to get everything back to a state where you can listen from episode one on the new server.

Even though we’ve moved, the channels remain unchanged—you can still listen to us as before on Podcasts and Spotify.

I don’t think there will be any particular need to update this blog anymore, so I don’t plan to post any further updates here. Probably. If there are any announcements, I think it would be better to post them on the official announcements page at tokyopowder.com rather than on this blog.

Well, I don’t know how things will turn out, but that’s the gist of it for now. First things first, I’ll do my best with the moving process. (Mitsuo)

95: Throwback

粉For some reason, episodes 1 through 12 of the KONA Radio podcast have been consistently failing to output properly. This time, following orders from the Kojyocho, we’ve decided to re-upload the affected episodes and try to have them newly reflected in the podcast.

So Kojyocyo, Ohya and I, Hakase, got together again to look back on the past and have a casual talk.

In the latter half of the program, we also read listener messages. Thank you for your wonderful messages, 1Q Apprentice Climber and Hot Water on the Rocks. Hearing such heartwarming stories as we wrap up the year has filled us with fighting spirit for the coming year.

Once again, updates in 2025 have been infrequent, and I sincerely apologize to our listeners who have been eagerly awaiting them. Still, I’ve come to realize that there is meaning in continuing this endeavor, however modestly.

This sudden cold snap has made conditions harsh for bears again this winter. Please be careful of injuries and bears, and we wish you all a safe and enjoyable climbing season over the New Year holidays. -Hakase
